We celebrate our existence on fallacious prejudices,
Our life is smeared with all the wrong indices.
Why we assume, why we pretend
Is a query worthy of intense aberrance.
An atom belonging to me invites you to suggest,
While there is still life within me to ingest.
I lean and observe on a spear of grass, a drop of tear
All this while contemplating the last time someone was here.
Is this all you entailed from me,
this is what you have made of me.
Oblivious to my own soggy eyes, i walk with nothing to foresee.
My life’s been in abeyance since you left
But I hope to cease it not till death.
You were self-sufficed for my subsistence
But your affection was an aversive pretence.
You were my harbour in good and bad
You were the only flagship I ever had.
The fragrance of your smile, with nothing like it
Its insinuation would intoxicate me, but I shall not let it
Your swish echoes within me ensuing ripples of unadulterated emotions
Impeding my respiration and inspiration, with relentless devotion.
I and this mystery together, here we stand
A few light kisses, a few embraces, a reaching around of arms,
Was all that was left in the end.
